Truth in Foreclosure’s vision is to serve homeowners going through foreclosure by providing time-tested information based on their experience in lender negotiation. Truth in Foreclosure was started in July 2007 by Todd Temaat as a for-profit negotiation and counseling service. As the company grew, he teamed up with several experienced negotiators and mortgage experts that have been providing lender mediation and negotiation services for homeowners for more than 10 years. This added depth allowed us to expand and serve more people, but as we grew, we began to get overwhelmed.
In the middle of 2008, we decided to branch out and focus our online efforts on providing as much information and as many tools as we can to help motivated homeowners get themselves out of foreclosure. As part of this change, the company has been bought out by an online publishing company called Momentum Publishing LLC. They have kept Todd and the team together to provide their expertise, but the company does not provide homeowner counselling or lender mediation services any more.
