Has this program been sucessful in Florida? I am thining of going this route and paying down all my debt and once we get to mediation, I will be in a much better postion to pay whatever needs to on my mortgage. I can’t lose my home!

I don’t know how successful each state program is. You’d have to contact the agency in charge for Florida and ask them.
If you can’t lose your home, then pay the payments and let all the other debt go. Not paying your mortgage so you can pay your credit card bills is a little like not treating the gaping wound in your neck because you have a cut on your finger that’s bleeding.
